Bike trip to Sanctuary Cafe, Saturday July 18, 2026

After a somewhat damper than expected start to the day, 6 of us set off up Ontario bike route and over the Canada Line bridge with Sanctuary Cafe in our sights.  There were the usual Garmin-user-error challenges leading to a couple of U-turns (what’s a bike ride without a u-turn?!) but the weather held dry in the end.  We made it to the cafe for a delicious brunch and coffee before heading back through Steveston’s Crabapple Ridge bike route, nosing at the variety of houses (and intersections hedges) in the area. A most enjoyable Saturday ride.
