Old Buck and Others

Sheila writes:-

Thirteen of our club members set out on a beautiful sunny day. The hike was a network of seven different trails in the lower Mt. Seymour area, which were chosen to form a loop instead of an out and back. After the first two hours we stopped at the BC Parks picnic area for an early lunch then continued on east from there. The route involved crossing Mt. Seymour Road on the way up and down. Multiple bridges and one low level, rock hopping creek were involved. We definitely had our tree and fern fix for the day. It was a 13km, 5 hour, 500m elevation gain hike. Afterwards eight of us went to the nearby Northlands Golf Course Bar and Grill for a beer and a bite.  A very enjoyable day.
